Rhonda Faraci

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Rhonda Faraci, and I am a Registered Nurse with many years of experience caring for expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy and their birthing journey.

My nursing journey began at Grace Hospital, where I worked as a staff nurse in The Labour and Delivery Unit. When the hospital closed its doors in 2003, our Obstetrical Team was transferred to Windsor Regional Hospitals Family Birthing Centre.

I continued to pursue my passion for Labour and Delivery. In 2005, I took a leadership position in the High Risk Unit and continued to dedicate my services to caring for expectant mothers. As a member of Windsor Regionals MOREOB Program, along with WRH Obstetricians and fellow colleagues, we were able to introduce principles, tools, and concepts that helped create a culture of safety for our patients.

In 2022, I decided to leave hospital nursing to spend more time with family and friends. However, my love for nursing never faded, and in 2023, I decided to start teaching prenatal classes.

I am dedicated to help educate our community with prenatal education, evidence-based information, and my own personal experiences. Providing prenatal education to expectant mothers and their partners will give the confidence and empowerment needed as they bring new life into the world.

Rhonda was very informative and her background felt like you were getting "the inside scoop" for how your delivery day could go. She was available for questions/concerns after the class. Rhonda’s prenatal class was absolutely amazing, as is Rhonda herself. She is an incredibly informative and experienced nurse who provided us with a wealth of valuable information, while also incorporating hands-on approaches, real-life situations, and a variety of examples to help make everything easy to understand and relatable. This is our first pregnancy, and we felt more and more at ease as the class went on. I initially hesitated about taking a prenatal class, but I’m so glad we did. I now feel much more prepared and confident. Rhonda presents information in such an understanding, approachable, and easy-to-learn way without ever making it feel overwhelming and was always open to encouraging and answering any questions we had. I especially loved that she personally tried many of the recommended providers and shared so many helpful resources that we didn’t even know existed. Rhonda was truly a wonderful instructor, and we are so grateful for everything she taught us. We would highly recommend her prenatal class to any expecting parents!

This is our first pregnancy, and my husband and I were feeling pretty nervous going into it, especially not knowing what to expect with labor and delivery. Rhonda’s prenatal education class truly helped put our minds at ease! We decided to do a private class, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Rhonda is incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job sharing her expertise in a way that felt clear, calm, and reassuring. She was very organized with her topics and information, which made everything easy to follow, and she took the time to thoroughly answer every question we had. One thing we especially loved was that she brought in props to help demonstrate different labor positions, as well as different tools that may be used during labor (foley, vacuum, forceps, etc) to help us understand why they are used and what to expect with them— that hands-on approach made a big difference and helped everything click for us. On top of being an excellent educator, Rhonda is so kind, warm, and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better. We left the class feeling much more confident and prepared! I would absolutely recommend Rhonda’s prenatal education class to any momma-to-be, especially first-time parents who are feeling nervous and want to feel supported and informed. Rhonda is an incredible and compassionate retired nurse. It’s immediately clear that she genuinely cares about her clients and truly loves what she does.
