These classes cover a range of topics including the following

  • Basic Breast Feeding Information
  • Hospital Stay Information 
  • Postpartum Education

Each class is designed to provide you with evidence-based information as well as a supportive environment which will allow you to connect with other moms to be.

 

At Prenatal Education 101, we understand the importance of comprehensive prenatal education in preparing for a positive birth experience and the early stages of motherhood. Our classes are led by experienced instructors who are passionate about supporting you on this incredible journey.

 Please select one of the available classes below to register. There will be a maximum of 4 couples per class. The cost is a total of $200.00 per couple. Payment is required at time of registration to secure your spot. Preferred method of payment is e-Transfer. Once you register our team will communicate with you by using the provided contact information to confirm your booking and share any updates related to the class.

Classes are held at local Obstetricians’ Offices. Please check for available classes and locations below.

Vaginal Birth Prenatal Classes

For parents planning a vaginal birth or who are undecided

This in-person prenatal class is designed for expectant parents who are planning a vaginal birth or are still exploring their options.
The class focuses on understanding the labour and birth process, providing practical tools and education to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported.

Planned Cesarean Birth Class

For parents with a scheduled C-section

This focused class is designed specifically for parents who already know they will be having a planned Cesarean birth.
Rather than covering all birth scenarios, this class prepares you for the Cesarean experience step by step—helping reduce anxiety and set realistic expectations.

  • What to expect on the day of a scheduled Cesarean
  • Understanding the operating room environment and medical team
  • Partner involvement during surgery
